Charities Aid Foundationpublishes our annual World Giving Index which surfaces global trends and themes in charitable giving, volunteering and support. Some key insights:- In the face of global challenges, 4.2 billion individuals reached out to help someone they didn't know, volunteered their time, or donated money to a worthy cause in 2022 – that’s 72% of the world's adult population. - The top 5 most generous countries are: 1. Indonesia 2. Ukraine 3. Kenya 4. Liberia 5. United States of America. - Whilst it's heartening to see the UK ranking 3rd in the world for donating money, our positions of 58th for volunteering and 112th for helping strangers tells us that there is more that we can do.
