Here's our annual guide to haunted houses and other Halloween events in northeastern Wisconsin — some family-friendly, others not so much. It will continue to be updated as the scares roll in.
TERROR ON THE FOX
What: Terror on the Fox is a haunted event featuring a ride on an antique passenger train, video screens and computer-controlled sound, lighting and animatronics.

BURIAL CHAMBER
What: Two indoor haunted houses, one outdoor wooded trail and four burial simulators

THE SPOOKS ON THE SPURR
What: Mansion of Misery is the haunted house and the Forest of Freaks is a haunted trail. Live music each night, food and drinks with bonfire.

GREEN BAY FEAR
What: Haunted house featuring four attractions, with live music by local musicians
When: 7-11 p.m. Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, Nov. 1 and 2; 7-10 p.m. Oct. 10, 17, 24 and 31; 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 19 is kids day

THE REALM OF DARKNESS

HAUNTEDHEARTHSTONE
What: Strange and scary practices of the Victorian era and possible sightings of long-deceased residents
When: 6-9 p.m. Oct.11, 18-19, 25-26 and 31. Presentations begin every hour.

NEENAH'SMOST HAUNTED
What: Youth Go's annual haunted mansion is put on by the nonprofit. Proceeds benefit Youth Go services for youth in grades 5-12. Recommended for guests 10 and older.
When: 6-9:30 p.m. Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25 and 26
Where: Neenah's Old City Garage, 333 W. Cecil St., Neenah

ZOO BOO
What: Giant inflatables, Jack-o-lantern-lined walkways to trick-or-treat stations. DJ music and haunted hayrides.
When: 3-8 p.m. Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25 and 26.
Where: NEW Zoo, Suamico
Admission: $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Children 2 and younger admitted free. Advance tickets available at North Shore Banks or online at newzoo.org.

WICKEDLY GRANDE'S FOOD SCARE
What: Family-friendly creepy yard trail collecting non-perishable food donations for St. Joseph's Food Program

GREENVILLE FRIGHT NIGHT AT THE PARK
What: Haunted house, hayride through haunted zoo, face painting, bonfire, concessions.
When: 6-8p.m. lights are on and the spooks are friendly; after 8 p.m. the lights go out and the scares begin, Oct. 18-19, 24-26

HALLOWEEN CANDLELIGHT CAVE TOURS
What: Guided tour of caves by candlelight; meet unusual personalities with strange stories to tell. Minimum recommended age is 5 with parent. Half-mile guided walk departs every half hour.

What: Swimming party for kids ages 6-13 with spooky Halloween music, games and trick-or-treat grab bag. Not a costume party.

YMCA FREAKY 5K RUN/WALK
What: YMCA of the Fox Cities will host the Freaky 5K Run/Walk and a Mini Monster Dash kids' fun run. Awards given for 5K, costume contest, wing-eating contest, dog friendly. Kids' games, inflatables and music.
When: Kids' run at 8 a.m. Oct. 26, 5K starts at 8:30 a.m.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY
What: The Kids Thank You Committee presents the 21stannual fundraising event to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Raffles, live music and costume contest with prizes.
