A2P messaging presents a valuable channel for direct communication with clients, customers, and stakeholders. As email open rates decline in many industries, A2P messaging is gaining relevance. Despite the industry's efforts to complicate messaging strategies, A2P offers direct, instant communication with significantly higher open and conversion rates.Data shows that nearly 80% of the population now prefers text over phone calls and emails.     My favourite screen snap from Keynote at #Connections24, in Chicago. This was one hell of a demo. The demo followed a car dealership sales rep, trying to work out who to reach out tom and find a new prospect to buy a new #AstonMartin. Einstein was asked who has been looking at the web site the most, Einstein replied Amy Goodwood. Einstein was asked to collect all the data on Amy that was available, when she bought her last car, life time value and what car she had been looking at the most. #Einstein queried #datacloud and it delivered comprehensive view of Amy, then wrote an appropriate mail that was delivered via WhatsApp, because that was Amy's preferred message delivery platform, and delivered via #marketingcloud (I think) Clearly all this work would be wasted as an email from Amy's car dealer that may or may not be opened, so they chose WhatsApp. My problem, Amy is part of the <30% of the US population who use WhatsApp and SMS and MMS didn't get a mention, let alone our Smart MMS platform. This demo ONLY came to life/became interesting when we saw a picture of Amy's existing Aston, a Phantom Grey #DB11. Visuals work - and there is a gap between email open rates, the limitations of SMS and the lack of penetration of WhatsApp. Smart MMS to the rescue.
