Portugal will seek to seal their spot in the next round of Euro 2024 when they face Turkey this afternoon.
Roberto Martinez's men were far from their best against the Czech Republic, but they did enough to seal a 2-1 win and set themselves up for this one.

But Turkey will also be eyeing a spot in the last 16, and they'll get it over Portugal should they win this match.
The Crescent Stars overcame Georgia 3-1 in their opening game, meaning they are in the same position as Portugal.

Indeed, their last group stage loss in the competition against anyone other than Germany (defeats in 2021 and 2012) was back at EURO 2008 versus Switzerland (0-2).

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “Pearcey [Stuart Pearce], honestly, I got hammered for saying it on social media but I was watching the game and I was like, ‘he’s not really the Ronaldo of old and they’re trying to cross it early just because Ronaldo’s in there.
“They’re trying to find him in the latter part of the pitch and get crosses in.
